While many in the United States are clamoring for an increase to the minimum wage, up to $15 an hour in some cases, I find myself where I usually do; on the other side of the argument. Instead of demanding a higher minimum wage or demanding the government implement a so-called “living wage”, I’m calling for the reverse. A $0.00 per hour minimum wage. In other words, a total repeal of the federally mandated minimum wage. Now, before anyone claims that I don’t care about families or that I want kids to starve, I ask that you hear me out.
